Markets Served - Utilities

In today's fast changing business environment, utility companies are faced with the increasing pressure of industry deregulation. Mergers and acquisitions are becoming commonplace, and deregulation is driving performance based-pricing. To remain competitive, utilities must convert legacy systems to work more efficiently. As long-term users of Automated Mapping/Facility Management (AM/FM) technologies, these companies can now benefit from the greater power spatial data integration can bring to business operations.

Functions such as work order management and customer service systems can be integrated with GIS technology to schedule routine maintenance and customer repairs more efficiently. Customer can be contacted in advance of repairs that may affect their service. And power outages can be pinpointed faster, so that work crews can be dispatched quickly.

In short, Geonetics can help you run your business more efficiently, resulting in higher profitability and customer satisfaction.
